Pondering in the digital environment

When asked to develop a graduate level course for students of the School of Archives, Libraries and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia, I framed the work as an exercise in inquiry rather than providing technical solutions. Offered as a remote, distance education opportunity, savvy student took to heart my caveat that distance curses are more, not less, work for both the student and the instructor.

Stepping out, again, on the Anisotropic Road

I am considering moving my former blog, long dormant, into this space. There are advantages, of course, to sticking with Blogger--far more potential for discovery. but, I wonder how much I want to be discovered? I'm past the stage where that really matters, and philosophically opposed to notoriety as a way of gaining clicks for real or perceived revenue generation. So, perhaps this space will do.

Must give more thought. What's your view?
