After considerable testing of alternative tools, we have selected Moodle as the engine behind the Online Learning Center (OLC). This is a milestone in the development of the OLC!
In May 2009, agreement was made with the Asia Pacific institute for Records & Information Management (API RIM) to provide online learning activities. Courses offered through API RIM will be clearly identified.
We have upgraded to the latest version and, over the coming period, we will fit course content into the upgraded technology. The learning content management system is supported with a revised base structure, necessitating revision of course content.
With challenge comes opportunity! Some courses will be offered in beta to test the new structure. Participants of Beta courses will benefit from a significant savings in course fees.
Please contact us if you are interested in a course listed on the site. The course content may be in hiatus for fit to the upgrade, or may be available now. If you are interested in being part of the beta test, please let us know! We'll confirm status on request and use your interest to prioritize the revision activity.
